Breeding methods and precautions of white butterflies

Breeding methods and precautions of white butterflies

1. Soil

When breeding white butterflies, it is best to use fertile, loose and well-ventilated sandy soil.

2. Watering

The white butterfly likes moisture, so you need to keep the soil in the pot moist and ensure sufficient water during its growth period, which is more conducive to its growth. When the temperature is high, you should frequently spray water on the ground or leaves to increase the humidity of the air. If there is insufficient water, the leaves will become smaller and rougher.

3. Lighting

White butterflies like to grow in an environment with diffused light. In winter, the sunlight is very weak and they can be exposed to direct sunlight. If the light is too strong, the color of the leaves will fade and the leaves will become thicker. When the sun is strong in the summer, take shade measures to prevent it from being exposed to strong light.

4. Temperature

It is best to control its growth temperature between 22-30℃. It is not cold-resistant. Its growth will slow down at 15℃, and it will stop growing at 10℃. If the temperature is lower than 5℃, it will be frozen.

5. Notes

White butterfly is prone to diseases during its growth period, mainly root rot, charcoal jaundice and gray mold, which will harm its leaves, stems and roots. Therefore, when the disease occurs, it is necessary to spray it with carbendazim for prevention and control, and take relevant preventive measures.
