Four Seasons Orchid

Four-season orchid, also known as Jianlan, usually blooms in late spring and lasts until October or autumn. The flowering period is extremely long and has a strong orchid fragrance.

1. Soil

Four-season orchids are afraid of waterlogging and drought. It is recommended to plant them in leaf humus with good moisture retention, looseness and breathability. Leaf humus is acidic and contains many nutrients.

2. Lighting

Four-season orchids prefer semi-shaded environments and can be placed in a diffused light position on the balcony, or in a brighter place in the living room or bedroom.

Four-season orchids like moisture, so water them once every 1-2 days. Use a watering can to keep the air around the orchid humid and clean the leaves.

Gardenia jasminoides
