If you say these "layman's words" when buying flowers, it's no wonder you're the one being cheated!

If you say these "layman's words" when buying flowers, it's no wonder you're the one being cheated!

Is this flower easy to grow?

I believe this is a question that flower lovers will definitely ask when buying flowers. It’s like asking a fruit shop owner: Is this fruit sweet? No matter what the bosses sell, they will say that the product is good.

If you don't know the flowers in front of you, you might as well ask directly what they are called and how to grow them. Then the boss will introduce them in detail.

Can I raise it in the north (south)?

As soon as we entered the flower market, we couldn't help but feel delighted. There were all kinds of rare varieties that had not yet bloomed. We couldn't help but buy a pot and asked the boss: Can I grow this flower at home?

The boss's answer is definitely yes. Their flowers are professionally grown in greenhouses. There are so many flowers in bloom and the colors are bright. When they hear that it is possible, many flower lovers will believe it.

Is it enough to just water it?

The flowers in the flower market all look very lively, giving us the illusion that we can also grow them like this. When we ask the owner, he will definitely say that we just need to water them.

In fact, many flowers in the flower market are sprayed with leaf brightener. Just a little spray will make the leaves shiny and immediately "dazzling".

Therefore, the juicy flowers and leaves cannot be grown only by watering, they must be properly maintained. If the flowers and plants at home are covered with dust, applying some beer water (1:500) on them can also have a brightening effect.

Is a small tree so expensive?

You must bargain when buying flowers. It seems that there is nothing wrong with this sentence, but in fact it is easy to be trapped by the boss, "If you think this flower is too expensive, why don't you buy that pot? It's bigger and cheaper than this one."

Comparing the prices one after the other, you may think you got a bargain, but you don’t know that the boss has successfully sold defective products, and the latter is not even worth the low price.

The flowers in the flower market are usually divided and potted in greenhouses. Some of them have their roots injured during the division process. The symptoms are not obvious in a short period of time, and we can't see the roots clearly in the pots. The flowers I bought back with yellow leaves and fallen leaves died soon after.

Don't get angry, the roots can still be saved if they are damaged. Dig them out and check. Healthy roots are white and fleshy. If they are black and rotten, they are rotten and need to be removed.

After cleaning, soak them in carbendazim solution for 20 minutes to disinfect and sterilize, let them dry for half a day and then replant them.

Succulent flowers are so beautiful?

Succulents are now in great demand. Almost every flower shop sells them. Many "old" succulents have already bloomed. If you are surprised by the beauty of the blooming succulents, the boss will definitely think you are an amateur.

Flower lovers who grow succulents know that succulents generally do not bloom well. Flowering consumes too much nutrients, which will cause the succulents to grow too tall, become weak, or even die.

The most common succulents that died after flowering were from the genera Sempervivum, Echeveria, Echeveria, Agave, and Cyperus. I have picked out a few common ones for you to remember.

So don’t be fooled by the appearance of the flowers in the flower market. Try not to buy succulents that die after blooming.
