Cultivation methods and precautions of bamboo leaf orchid

one. Moisture

1. During the growing season of this plant, be sure to provide sufficient water. If it lacks water, its growth will slow down and it will be stunted. Watering needs to be sufficient, and never water only half, otherwise they will not be able to grow normally.

2. The number of watering times is generally determined by the soil conditions of the growing plants. If the plants are grown in hard, hydrophobic substrates such as volcanic rock and pumice stone, they can be watered once a day; if the plants are grown in highly absorbent substrates such as pond mud, they can be watered once every two or three days.

3. So when should you take a shower? Generally, you should choose to shower in the morning or evening, not at noon.

two. Flower fertilizer

1. Generally we will choose farmyard manure, but this kind of fertilizer must be piled for more than one year and be decomposed before it can be used. You can mix this fertilizer with 10 to 20 times the amount of water and pour it on the substrate. When pouring, try to get as close to the edge of the pot as possible. Do not let the fertilizer directly contact the roots of the plant or its leaves.

2. When applying fertilizer, pay attention to the balance of various elements and strictly control the concentration of the fertilizer solution. If you want to enjoy the leaves, you need to control the synthesis of chlorophyll, do not apply nitrogen fertilizer, and do not apply liquid fertilizer containing manganese and magnesium. If you want larger flowers, you can add nitrogen fertilizer appropriately.

3. You can only add fertilizer on the leaves. Spraying fertilizer on the leaves can allow the plant to absorb nutrients through the leaves without hurting the roots. It is a very good fertilization method for this plant. During its growth and development period, spray fertilizer on its leaves about once every ten days. This way, you can grow a beautiful plant.

4. Add fertilizer in small amounts and multiple times.
