White spots appear on rose leaves

Generally, when small white spots appear on roses, it basically means that they have powdery mildew. At first, there are only white spots, which gradually spread to the entire leaf plant. In severe cases, it may even cause the entire leaf to turn yellow and fall off.

Solution:

1. Cut off the branches infected with powdery mildew, collect them and burn them directly to prevent them from infecting healthy plants again.

2. If you find that the rose has powdery mildew, spray pesticide immediately. Buy at least 2 special medicines for powdery mildew and cross-irrigate the roots about once every 5 days. It can basically be cured in half a month.

3. For safety reasons, flower lovers who do not want to use pesticides can mix white vinegar and water in a ratio of 1:50 to make a solution, and spray it on the rose leaves. Be careful to make sure that all the white powder on the leaves is soaked.

Black spots on orchid leaves

A few days ago, a friend sent Huahua a photo. As soon as Huahua saw the black and brown spots on the leaves, she knew that she had red spider mites. In the eyes of flower growers, red spider mites are the most annoying pest!

Solution:

1. If you find that your orchid has red spider mites, you must spray it with pesticides immediately, otherwise the whole plant will be in trouble. You can use Jinmanzhi, Damanling, Avermectin and other drugs interchangeably for spraying. Spray once every 3-5 days to eliminate all the red spider mites!

2. If you really don’t want to use medicine, you can also light a mosquito coil and place it next to the orchid pot. Light one every 2-3 days and the red spider will be killed quickly.

3. In addition to mosquito coils, you can also use laundry detergent mixed with water, the ratio is about 1:150, then pour it into a spray bottle and spray the plants, about once every 5 days, which can also prevent and control red spider mites.

Small white spots appear on the leaves of succulent plants

Generally, if small white spots appear on the leaves of succulents, they are most likely scale insects. The temperature is high and the weather is hot in summer. As long as there is poor ventilation, scale insects will come.

Solution:

1. If you find that there are not many scale insects on the succulents, you can use toothpicks, tweezers, etc. to clean the scale insects directly. You can also light a mosquito coil next to the flower pot to kill the scale insects.

2. If you find that there are a lot of scale insects on the succulents, you must spray pesticides. Systemic insecticides can be used, that is, no matter where the medicine is applied to the succulent, the efficacy can be transmitted to the entire plant, thereby killing scale insects that mainly suck the juice of the succulent.

3. If you don’t want to spray pesticides or use mosquito coils, you can also use the wind oil that you have at home for prevention and control. Mix medicated oil and water in a ratio of 1:500, then spray it on the plants to kill scale insects.

Small black spots appear on the leaves of green radish

Huahua recently discovered that there were always many small black spots on the leaves of the flowers at home for inexplicable reasons. When she took a closer look, she found out that it was the small black flies that were causing the trouble! Moreover, this little black fly is so tenacious. I killed batch after batch, but there are still some!

Solution:

1. Once you find small black flies on the flowers at home, the quickest way is to use medicine. Huahua thinks that cypermethrin, flower protector, etc. are all effective in treating small black flies. After adding water according to the concentration specified in the instructions, water the roots of the potting soil. Basically, it only takes 3-4 times to eliminate all the black flies.

2. It is not enough to just use medicine to irrigate the roots. You can also use sticky insect boards at the same time. Place the sticky insect boards next to the flower pots. After a while, you can see a lot of small black flies stuck on them.

3. If there are elderly people and children at home and you don’t want to use medicine, you can also make your own insecticide. Mash the garlic and soak it in water. After about 24 hours, filter out the minced garlic, mix the garlic water and clean water in a 1:1 ratio, and spray it directly on the plants.

Aphids on Gardenia leaves

Huahua has a pot of gardenia at home. When she was watering it in the morning, she found a lot of aphids on the leaves, which really made Huahua feel sick to death!

Solution:

1. The simplest and most effective method is to use drugs such as cypermethrin, dilute them with water and spray them on the plants to eliminate aphids as soon as possible!

2. Another simple and effective method is to use black light. Aphids are phototactic, so using a black light in the house can attract all the aphids. After a few times, the aphids can basically be eliminated.

3. You can also use chili peppers or Sichuan peppercorns. Boil them in boiling water until they change color, remove the impurities, and then spray the chili water or Sichuan pepper water on the plants to use the pungent smell to drive away aphids.
