When does the quince bloom?

Flowering period

The flowers of the quinceandra mainly bloom in summer, from June to September. After the flowers fade, September and October are the fruit-bearing period of the quinceandra.

Why not blooming?

The flowering period of the Quisqualis creeper lasts for a long time, and it is very lush during the peak flowering period. However, the Quisqualis creeper may not bloom at some point. So why doesn't it bloom?

One of the reasons why the quinceandra plant does not bloom is that it does not receive enough light to grow.

The quinceanera likes sufficient light. It is beneficial for its flowering to be exposed to sufficient sunlight every day. If it is kept in a hidden place for a long time, resulting in insufficient light, it will cause the plant to grow too tall and not bloom.

The failure of the quince to bloom may also be caused by improper fertilization.

Improper fertilization is manifested as insufficient fertilizer, which results in the plant not having sufficient nutrients to maintain the consumption required for flowering, thus affecting flowering; secondly, if too much nitrogen fertilizer is used, the plant will have lush branches and leaves, but will not bloom.

Another reason why the plant does not bloom may be due to lack of pruning.

If the Quisqualis creeper is not pruned, the branches will grow in a disorderly manner, which is not only unsightly, but also affects ventilation and light transmission, competes for nutrients, and causes it to not bloom.

How can it bloom luxuriantly?

If you want the gentleman flower to bloom well, daily and reasonable maintenance is the key.

Adequate light is essential, and fertilization should also be reasonable. In addition to applying sufficient base fertilizer, top dressing is required in spring and summer to ensure that the Croton has sufficient nutrients to bloom.

Pay attention to regular pruning of branches and ensure ventilation and light to facilitate the growth of the Siberian Gentian. Pruning is done in winter to facilitate flowering next year.
