How to grow succulent plants Orange Monroe

How to grow succulent plants Orange Monroe

Orange Monroe temperature requirements

Like most succulents, Orange Monroe has the habit of growing in cool seasons and hibernating in high temperatures in summer. Orange Monroe is not cold-resistant. During the breeding process, special attention should be paid to the changes in temperature with the seasons. When the temperature reaches 35℃ in summer, it is necessary to provide shade and ventilation. When the temperature is below 5℃ in winter, Orange Monroe should be placed in a sunny place indoors.

Orange Monroe's lighting requirements

Orange Monroe prefers sunny, cool and dry conditions. But avoid exposure to the sun in hot summer weather.

Orange Monroe's water requirements

Orange Monroe is drought-resistant, and the principles of watering during the growing period should be “don’t water unless the soil is dry” and “water thoroughly when watering”. During the summer dormant period, spray a small amount of water on the surface of the soil every week to prevent the roots of Orange Monroe from dying from lack of water. Because it will still consume some water during the dormant period, it is necessary to water it. In winter, as the temperature drops, you should gradually reduce watering and pay attention to keeping the soil dry to improve the soil's resistance to cold.

Orange Monroe soil requirements

Orange Monroe requires well-drained, loose and breathable soil. You can use a mixture of peat moss, vermiculite and perlite.

How to Propagate Orange Monroe

Since Orange Monroe is not easy to grow in groups, it can be propagated by cuttings. Take a branch and leaf and cut it into slightly moist soil. Do not water it immediately after cutting, and do not expose it to direct sunlight. It should be placed in a well-ventilated environment.
