1. Method of division

1. Plant selection: For iris division propagation, you need to select suitable plants. They must be in good growth condition and be adult plants that have grown for 3-4 years. Such plants have strong tubers and contain nutrients. The survival rate of such adult plants is higher. The survival rate of plants that are too small is low.

2. Divide the tubers: Take the selected plants out of the pots, carefully observe the position of the roots, choose a clean and sterilized knife, and separate the tubers underneath, or you can break them apart directly with your hands to ensure that each cluster has 1-2 leaf buds, so that the survival rate is higher. After dividing into several parts, don't rush to plant them. Put the tubers aside to dry them first. Be careful not to let the cut come into contact with water. You can apply wood ash on the cut.

3. Prepare the soil: prepare the flower pots for planting and prepare soil suitable for growth. The soil should be loose and breathable, have a certain permeability, and be mixed with a certain amount of organic fertilizer. After preparing the soil, it must be disinfected and sterilized before using it for cultivation.

4. Planting in pots: After preparation, you can plant in pots. Do not plant too deep. After planting, water thoroughly and take good care of it afterwards.
