February orchid has mutated, and it's very psychedelic with its plumpness and thinness

Colors range from white to purple

It is understood that there are four varieties of February orchid in my country, namely the original species of Zhugecai, the notched Zhugecai, the hairy-fruited Zhugecai and the Hubei Zhugecai. (The following pictures are arranged in order)

In fact, the most common flower of February orchid is purple-blue, but the flower colors vary due to differences in growing environments. In the sea of blue and purple flowers, the white or pink February orchids are the most eye-catching, but there are also some dark blue-purple, purple-red, and rose-red flowers hidden.

Some white February orchids remain white from blooming to falling, but some February orchids are white when they first bloom, and slowly turn into blue-purple in the middle period. Some flowers may have blue-purple flowers interspersed among the white flowers when they bloom, appearing to be alternating white and purple.

Petals are plump and thin

In addition to the flower color, the petals after the mutation are also slightly different. Some petals are round and broad, while others are thin and slender; the difference in petals is that some petals are flat, while others are wavy; some petals have smooth edges, while others have many serrations on the edges.

Leaf psychedelic, difficult to inherit

In addition to the flowers, the leaves will also show obvious changes. Sometimes you will find that the leaves on the entire plant or multiple branches will have different numbers of light yellow or milky white spots. They are not caused by diseases or insect pests, but look gorgeous and psychedelic.

The editor would like to remind you here that if you have such a mutated February orchid in your home, please cherish it, because the mutated February orchid is not hereditary and can only exist once. Please take pictures carefully and take good care of it.
