Mint

Mint can be grown in a simple way. It should be noted that mint likes fertile, loose soil with good drainage. In addition, you can apply some chicken manure fertilizer to make it grow faster.

Asparagus fern likes loose and well-breathable soil. Avoid watering too much at one time. Old leaves should be cut off in time, and attention should be paid to applying thin fertilizers frequently.

There is a lot of oil smoke in the kitchen, so it is best to place some flowers that can absorb harmful gases and smoke, such as spider plants and green ivy.

Chlorophytum

Although spider plant is a semi-shade plant, you should still take it out and expose it to the sun regularly. In addition, the soil in the spider plant pot should have good air permeability and drainage, otherwise the roots will easily rot.

Pothos

Green ivy likes a semi-shaded and ventilated environment, and is suitable for being placed in the living room, study, etc. Green ivy is very easy to grow and only needs to be watered about once every 3-5 days.

The balcony usually has sufficient sunlight and good ventilation, so it is very suitable for growing some sun-loving flowers. For example, sunflowers, petunias, etc.

Sunflowers are strong sun-loving plants and are very suitable to be placed on the balcony. Sunflowers have high requirements for water, so you can water them heavily, generally once a day, and twice a day when it is very hot in summer.

Petunia

Petunia likes sunny, warm and humid places, so the balcony is a very good choice. Also, please note that petunias are not tolerant to waterlogging, so avoid watering too much at one time. Water them about once every 5 to 7 days.

Toilet

The bathroom is usually dark and damp, so it is better to put some shade-tolerant plants. In addition, there are many bacteria and mosquitoes in the bathroom, so you can place some plants that can kill bacteria and repel insects, such as kidney ferns and mosquito repellent grass.

Nephrolepis

Nephrolepis is shade-tolerant and prefers warm and humid places. It can also regulate air humidity and absorb formaldehyde. Nephrolepis has good shade tolerance, so it is very suitable for maintenance in bathrooms with weak light.

Mosquito repellent grass

Mosquito repellent grass likes warmth and water. 10-25℃ is the suitable growth temperature. Temperatures below 7℃ and above 32℃ are not conducive to growth. The indoor wintering temperature should not be lower than 12℃.
