1. Edible parts

Generally speaking, its seedlings, tender stems and leaves are edible. However, for humans, the main food is its seedlings. Its stems and leaves can be fed to livestock.

2. Main practices

(1) Eat cold: Choose fresh ash-green vegetables, which will make the dish taste better. Put water in a pot, bring to a boil, then add the ingredients. Blanch it for a while, not too long, just a few minutes will do. After taking it out, cool it down with cold water. After that, remove the water contained in it and add seasonings such as salt, vinegar, sesame oil, and chili oil. Then, mix it thoroughly. You can then eat it.

(2) Steaming: This method also tastes good. Add starch to flour and knead into dough. After washing the vegetables, blanch them in boiling water. Next, cut it into pieces, add salt, oil, and five-spice powder, and mix well. Then, cut the dough into pieces and roll them into pancakes, then put the processed vegetables on top. Then roll up the pancake and steam it until cooked.

(3) As a filling: Many people like to use it as a filling for dumplings, and it tastes good this way. Wash it first, and then blanch it. Then, chop it into small pieces and mix it with the minced meat. Add seasoning and mix well. Now you can make dumplings.

(4) Stir-fry: You can stir-fry with sausages. Just use a handful of green onion and wash it clean. Add oil and seasoning. Add the sausage first and fry until it curls. Add green onion and vinegar. When it becomes slightly soft, you can turn off the heat.
