Can jade trees be placed indoors?

Can jade trees be placed indoors?

1. Is it possible?

The answer is no, it is not suitable to be kept indoors.

Many people may fall in love with it because of its emerald green leaves, so they put it in our room as a decoration, giving us a feeling of being deep in nature. But few people know that no matter how beautiful it is, it can only be kept outdoors and is not suitable for keeping indoors.

2. Why not

1. Because it is poisonous

After hearing this, were you shocked that such an ornamental plant could be poisonous? The fact is that its juice contains a large amount of toxins. If people accidentally touch it, the skin will feel itchy, swollen and painful. And if it accidentally splashes into the eyes, it will be very bad for our eyesight.

Although it is poisonous, it is fine as long as you don't eat it by mistake or rub it into your eyes. However, it is still recommended to keep it outdoors for safety, especially for families with children. Be careful not to keep it in the room, for fear that they will be naughty and accidentally touch or eat it, which would lead to serious consequences.

2. Growth habits determine unsuitability

We all know that it loves sunlight very much and it can grow particularly well in such an environment. Although it is somewhat tolerant to partial shade, you should still try to place it in a sunny location. So it is better to keep it outdoors because the outdoor sunlight is more sufficient, which is unmatched indoors. If it is placed in a dark place indoors for a long time, it will be very bad for its growth.

So no matter how much you like to put flowers in the room, you still have to check whether their growth habits are suitable. Some flowers are suitable, but some are not. From this point of view, growing flowers is not an easy task. Only by growing them according to the growth needs of each flower can you grow them better. Therefore, it is more suitable for jade plants to be grown outdoors.
