How to make wine from blueberries

Here we take 1kg of blueberries as an example. The blueberries must be fresh, and the purpler the fruit, the more mature it is. Secondly, you need a fine fresh lemon, rock sugar and two liters of high-quality brewing liquor.

Washing blueberries

This step is not as simple as washing with clean water. First, soak the blueberries in low-salt salt water for about a quarter of an hour, then wash the fruits with clean water, and then dry the moisture on the surface of the blueberries.

Remove the core

Remove the cores of the blueberry fruits and crush the separated blueberry pulp. The higher the degree of crushing, the better.

Place blueberries into the brewing container

Rock sugar is needed in this step. The method is to spread the blueberry pulp and rock sugar in a container, alternating the order of blueberries and rock sugar.

Add white wine

Add sake to the container containing rock sugar and blueberries. The sake should cover the ingredients in the container by about two centimeters.

Peel the lemon

Cut it horizontally and put it into the container that previously contained the mixed materials.

Sealed container

Seal the container and place it in a well-ventilated and cool place. Be sure to avoid exposure to sunlight. If conditions permit, it is better to place it in a well-ventilated basement.

Start brewing

The brewing time of blueberry wine is generally three months. After one month of brewing, you can remove the lemon from the container. After three months, the blueberry wine is basically ready, and you can filter out the wine in the container. It should be noted that the brewing time of blueberry wine must be controlled. If it takes too long, it may lose its wine flavor.
