The Flower Language of Forget-me-not

The flower language of forget-me-not is eternal love. Forget-me-not is directly translated from the English word "Forget-me-not". The name of forget-me-not is quite romantic, and the legends about it further confirm its status as the "romantic among flowers". According to legend, a knight in ancient Europe paid the price of his life to pick a bouquet of flowers for his beloved girlfriend. The flower was "Forget-me-not".

Forget-me-not Introduction

Forget-me-not is a one- or two-year-old herb of the Boraginaceae family. The stem of forget-me-not is 10-50m long, and is particularly small and delicate in the wild, with flowers of mixed blue. There are variants of white forget-me-not and red forget-me-not. Young men and women give each other forget-me-nots to express their deep affection.

In today's flower market, there is a kind of flower called "Forget-me-not", which can last for a long time without withering. It is not the same as the one we mentioned earlier. It is a perennial or biennial herb. The whole plant has rough hairs and can reach a height of more than 60 cm. The length of the flower branches can reach 1 m. The inflorescence branches have 3-5 wings, and 3-5 mixed flowers are borne on one side of the short flower spike. The flower stems are membranous and come in purple, lavender, blue, red, rose pink, white, and yellow. Calling Limonium "Forget-me-not" is actually a misnomer. But the name "forget-me-not" is indeed very touching. Precisely because people cherish this feeling, it is understandable that other flowers are mistakenly called "forget-me-not".
