Periwinkle belongs to those who are nostalgic. There is a story about the philosopher Rousseau and his mother.

Rousseau went out for a walk with his mother. She saw some blue flowers on the roadside and said to Rousseau, "Look! The periwinkle is still in bloom!" But Rousseau had never seen a periwinkle before, and he was severely nearsighted, so even if he lowered his head, it was difficult for him to see the plants on the ground clearly. Rousseau only took a quick glance at the flower. Almost thirty years passed since then, and he never saw this flower again, let alone paid attention to it.

Many years later, in 1764, Rousseau went hiking with his friend Mr. Bayrou in Clercille. There was a beautiful pavilion on the top of the mountain, which he aptly called the "Pavilion of Beauty". Rousseau had just begun collecting plant specimens at that time. While climbing the mountain, he accidentally glanced into the woods and suddenly exclaimed in surprise: "Ah!
