Rosemary Water Garden PreparationA pot of rosemary in soil, pruning shears, and a transparent container How to grow rosemary hydroponically1. Cut branches. According to different seasons, in spring or summer, take green and tender branches of 5~10cm ; from summer to autumn, cut grayish white branches of 10~15cm; in autumn, cut brown and hard branches of 15~35cm. 2. Use your fingers to rub off the leaves on the lower 1/2 of the branch. If the cuttings are too tender, you can use tweezers to remove them. 3. Place the processed branches into a transparent container and add enough water to reach the height of the lowest leaves. 4. Then place the plant in a sunny place, change the water every 2 to 3 days in the first week, and then change it after the water becomes turbid. After 5.5 to 8 weeks, many small white roots will grow on the lower part of the branches. Continue hydroponics. When the roots grow to about 5 cm, you can remove some branches for soil culture, or continue hydroponics. However, hydroponics requires appropriate supplementation of nutrient solution. |
