1. Reduce watering

Reason: Kalanchoe itself is relatively drought-resistant and does not require much water. If you water it every day, it will inevitably cause waterlogging, affecting the breathing of the roots and causing the leaves to dry out.

Solution: If there is water accumulation in the pot, drain it in time and also control the amount of watering. Generally, watering 2-3 times a week is sufficient.

2. Pay attention to shade

Reason: Kalanchoe is suitable for long-term sunlight, but strong direct sunlight can damage the leaves and cause them to dry out.

Solution: During the high temperatures of summer, avoid exposing the Kalanchoe to strong light at noon. Move the potted plants indoors and place them in a ventilated semi-shaded area, or a place with scattered light. This will ensure that the plants get enough light without damaging the leaves.

3. Cool down in time

Reason: High temperature inhibits the growth of plants, reducing the absorption of water and nutrients, which in turn causes the leaves to dry out.

Solution: The cooling method is to sprinkle water on the leaves, or you can sprinkle water on the surrounding ground. In addition to cooling, it can also increase the air humidity, effectively inhibit transpiration, and avoid water loss in the leaves.

4. Wash the leaves

Reason: Fertilizers can cause some damage to leaves, and even liquid fertilizers should be avoided from contact with leaves and branches.

Solution: If fertilizer is spilled on the leaves during fertilization, it should be cleaned up in time. If the leaves have been corroded, they need to be removed in time to avoid affecting other parts of the plant.
