Causes of plant breakageThere are two main reasons for this situation. The first is excessive watering, which may cause the plant's epidermis to be stretched and cracked. If this continues, the wound will become larger and larger and eventually crack. Of course, excessive watering may also threaten the root system, causing root rot, and then indirectly leading to plant breakage. Both of these are related to the factor of watering, so we will discuss them together. The second is the problem of pests. If an insect bites a part of the leaf of a plant, it will of course break. Specific measuresRegarding the first reason, of course, we are required to handle water reasonably. We first need to understand the water needs of plants. In fact, plants do not require much water. And the specific method we adopt is called the "pot immersion method", which is to water the plants from the bottom of the pot, and the water content should not exceed 2/3 of the pot. Normally, you don’t need to water it too much. You can water it only when we observe that it is a little wrinkled or the leaves are shriveled. After about six hours, the plant will return to normal. One thing that needs special attention is that you should reduce watering in summer and you can spray some water appropriately. The choice of pots is also particularly important. You should not choose those that are not breathable. It is best to choose ceramic pots. The amount of water provided is also related to the pot. If the pot is not breathable enough, less water should be provided. As for the second situation, there are special pesticides for insect pests, so I won’t explain it in detail here. The first situation is more important. |
