Reasons why cyclamen leaves turn yellow, first aid for yellowing leaves

1. Too much light

Reason: When growing cyclamen, you must pay attention to the time and intensity of light exposure. If the light exposure time is too long or too strong, the leaves will be burned and turn yellow.

First aid measures: Be sure to avoid strong light, especially strong light in summer, move to semi-shade in time, ventilate more, and water frequently to cool down. This way you can safely spend the summer and avoid yellowing leaves. The leaves have turned yellow and cannot recover, so it is best to cut off the yellow leaves.

2. Improper fertilization

Reason: It needs to be fertilized in appropriate amounts during its growth period. Lack of nutrients or excessive fertilization may cause yellow leaves. Lack of nutrients will cause poor growth and yellowing of leaves. Applying excessive fertilizer or using concentrated fertilizer or raw fertilizer will burn the roots, cause fertilizer damage, and cause yellow leaves or curling leaves.

First aid measures: If there is a lack of nutrients, fertilizer should be added as soon as possible. It is best to apply thin fertilizers frequently. The fertilizer can be diluted before application so that it can be absorbed quickly. If there is too much fertilizer or the fertilizer type is not selected properly, you can pour clean water to dilute the fertilizer and drain the fertilizer liquid.

3. Improper watering

Reason: It likes a humid environment. If it is not watered for a long time, the soil will become dry and turn yellow. But if you water too much or too frequently, water will accumulate in the soil, causing the roots to rot and the leaves to turn yellow.

First aid measures: If there is a lack of water, add water immediately to make the soil more moist. If there is water accumulation, stop watering first, ventilate more, and loosen the soil around the plants to drain the water.
