What fertilizer is best for vegetables?

During the vegetable planting process, choose to apply sufficient base fertilizer and apply appropriate topdressing of urea, etc. The base fertilizer should be sufficient organic fertilizer. Apply sufficient base fertilizer during the planting process, and you can apply less fertilizer frequently in the later stage. Promote green and pollution-free agricultural products. Apply sufficient base fertilizer when planting cabbage. If there is a lack of fertilizer during the growth process, you can apply decomposed manure in the later stage.

Fertilizer for green vegetables

Organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer are generally applied to green vegetables. Generally, it is better to use decomposed organic fertilizer. The fertilization method is to use organic fertilizer as the main fertilizer and chemical fertilizer as the auxiliary fertilizer. Fertilizer made from animal feces, plant fertilizer, organic fertilizer, compound fertilizer, etc., mainly farmyard manure and organic fertilizer, can be sprayed on the leaves.

1. Seedling stage

After sowing the green vegetables, you cannot apply fertilizer to them when they have just emerged. If you apply fertilizer at this time, because the roots are shallow and the seedlings are small, they grow very slowly and do not require much fertilizer. Therefore, after topdressing, it is easy to cause fertilizer damage and seedling burn and death.

2. Mid-late stage

The nutrient requirements of green vegetables are similar to those of leafy vegetables. However, since green vegetables themselves do not grow very fast, their absorption and utilization of nutrients are not as fast as those of general leafy vegetables. Therefore, nitrogen fertilizer is the main fertilizer used for topdressing, and phosphorus and potassium fertilizers are added according to different growth stages. Foliar fertilizer is used in the middle and late stages.

Fertilization method for green vegetables

1. When planting green vegetables, you can apply compound fertilizer or urea. The method of fertilization is to spread the fertilizer on the depression or between the rows of plants after watering the green vegetables or when it rains. However, be careful not to spread it on the leaves of the green vegetables to avoid burning the leaves.

2. Add the fertilizer to an appropriate amount of water and then flush it with the water. You can also dig some trenches and holes in the vegetable field, then apply the fertilizer into them, and then rake the soil finely.
