Why do plant leaves turn yellow?

There are several reasons that may lead to this phenomenon, which are summarized as follows.

The most likely reason is improper watering measures, and there are two possible situations. One is too much watering. If it is excessive, the roots of the plants may be in overly wet soil for a long time, which will of course cause damage. Another situation is that the plant is in a state of water shortage for a long time and then suddenly watered. In this case, the roots will not be able to adapt to the rapidly changing environment for a while, which will threaten the leaves.
