How to grow water bamboo

How to grow water bamboo

1. Breeding methods

1. Soil: Water bamboo has a certain growth potential and is not demanding on soil. It is recommended to use more fertile soil. It relatively prefers clay soil, and it is best if it has a certain degree of air permeability.

2. Water: When watering the plant normally, you should water it frequently and the soil should have a high humidity so that it can grow quickly and healthily. However, it is afraid of waterlogging, so it is fine as long as there is no accumulation of water in the pot.

3. Sun: Water bamboo loves sunlight very much. It is best to grow in a sunny place, but the light should not be too strong. You can put it in the sun all day. However, it needs to be shaded in the summer, otherwise it will be damaged by the sun.

4. Water quality: If you want to grow hydroponically, the water must be clean. You can use river water or well water, but do not use purchased mineral water. Tap water must be left for a day before use.

2. Precautions

You need to be careful when caring for water bamboo. Once you find that the plant has symptoms of disease or insect pests, you should immediately treat it with medication. It should be noted that isolation measures should be taken as soon as possible and should not be left unattended.
