How to ferment pine bark

How to ferment pine bark

1. Fermentation method

1. Put the pine bark into a clean plastic bag, add some fertilizer and water into it, use tools to tie the bag tightly, do not let it contact the air, place it in a place with sufficient light, and wait for about a month before using it.

2. The second fermentation method requires crushing the pine bark and adding some chicken manure, urea and lime. After it is wetted, add an appropriate amount of fermentation aid, stir it evenly with tools, and cover it with a cover. Wait for about 12 hours and stir again. During this period, pay attention to moisturizing and keeping warm. The temperature during fermentation should be controlled at 40-45℃. Turn it over every half a month or so. Wait for about 2-3 months and it will be fermented.

2. How to judge whether the fermentation is good

1. Color: Before fermentation, its color is usually brown. However, after fermentation, the color will become darker and become burnt black.

2. Taste: You can also judge by smelling it. It has a light fragrance. However, we add urea during fermentation, and coupled with high temperature fermentation, the smell will become very unpleasant and pungent.
