How to grow bonsai

How to grow bonsai

1. Proper watering

When growing bonsai, most flower lovers kill their plants by overwatering, so it is necessary to avoid water accumulation in the potting soil. Don't over-water for fear of lack of water, because if the water cannot evaporate but cannot be drained out, the roots will rot. Each time you water, just water it thoroughly, and the soil should be slightly moist.

2. Timely fertilization

The plant needs nutrient support during its growth period, so it is important to fertilize it in a timely and regular manner, otherwise it will grow poorly. When applying fertilizer, the amount should be smaller, and it can be applied in small amounts and multiple times, and the concentration of the fertilizer should also be lower. Usually, the plants grow vigorously in spring and autumn, so it is enough to apply fertilizer during this period. It is best not to apply fertilizer in winter and summer.

3. Reasonable exposure to light

Most plants are afraid of strong light, so they can accept light when the sunlight is mild, but they must be shaded in summer. If bonsai is kept under the scorching sun, its leaves will be burned, and it is prone to lack of water when the temperature is high, which is not conducive to the growth of the plant. Therefore, it should be kept in a cool place in the hot summer.

4. Positioning

During the breeding period, do not change its growth environment at will, because it will be difficult for the plant to adapt to the new environment. Provide it with a more stable growth environment. You can turn the flower pot every once in a while to allow the plant to see the sunlight more comprehensively.
