How does the lucky tree grow new roots in winter and how to water it in winter

How does the lucky tree grow new roots in winter and how to water it in winter

1. New rooting method

1. If the roots of the cultivated lucky tree are rotten, it needs to grow new roots. First, you need to take the plant out of the pot and clean the old soil around the roots with a shovel. Use a clean pair of scissors to directly cut off the rotten roots until healthy roots are exposed. Disinfect it in potassium permanganate and dry it, apply some rooting powder and put it back in the pot, and finally wait for it to grow new roots.

2. If you are growing new roots by cuttings in winter, the temperature should be controlled above 15°C. If the temperature is too low, it will grow poorly. Cut branches with a length of 15-20cm from the mother plant, leaving only 2-3 leaves on the top. It is best to treat them with rooting liquid and then plant them in the flower soil. During its rooting period, it needs a certain amount of humidity and avoid direct sunlight.

2. Winter watering method

Don't water too frequently in winter. It is best to check the dryness and wetness of the soil in the pot with a shovel before watering. If the soil turns white, you can water it. In addition, the water temperature for watering should be close to room temperature. Water that is too cold will freeze its roots. Try to water at noon, and provide adequate light and ventilation after watering.
