Green Bell Family Breeding Methods and Precautions

Green Bell Family Breeding Methods and Precautions

1. Flower Pots and Soil

The first step in home farming is to choose suitable soil and flower pots. The soil should be fertile and breathable, and can be made of peat soil, garden soil and river sand. For home cultivation, do not choose flower pots that are too deep; shallow pots are more suitable. In addition, the pot needs to be repotted every two or three years.

2. Temperature

Green bell likes warmth, preferably between 15 and 25 degrees. In winter, you need to keep warm and the temperature should not drop below five degrees. Generally speaking, home farming can meet this requirement, just make sure the temperature is not too high in summer.

3. Watering

Green Bell needs water the most when it is growing vigorously, specifically from March to September. In addition to replenishing water in time after the soil is dry, you also need to spray and water regularly. It doesn't need much water at other times, and the Green Bell itself is relatively drought-resistant, so don't water it too much.

4. Light

Green Bell prefers semi-shade, so for home cultivation, just place it in a place with appropriate scattered light or semi-shade. But it cannot be entirely due to this, too weak light will also affect its growth. In winter, the plant can receive sunlight for a longer period of time and should not be too dark.

5. Fertilization

Green Bells require fertilizer mainly in spring and autumn. It can be used once every two weeks, and the main type of fertilizer used is nitrogen fertilizer. No fertilizer is needed in winter. In summer, whether to apply fertilizer depends on the situation. Do not apply fertilizer when the temperature is high, but apply an appropriate amount when the temperature is moderate.
