How to grow golden sedge

How to grow golden sedge

1. Watering

The soil in the pot should always be kept moist during its growth period, but water accumulation is strictly prohibited. It is best to keep the soil dry and wet when watering. When watering, be sure to water thoroughly so that the soil and roots at the bottom of the pot can come into contact with water. It is important to note that you should avoid being exposed to rain for a long time during the rainy season and take timely precautions. In addition, water should be controlled when the temperature is high or low. For example, when the temperature is above 30 degrees or below 5 degrees, do not water unless the soil is dry.

2. Lighting

It likes light very much, so when caring for it, you should place it in a well-lit place, and there is no need to block it even from the strong sunlight in summer. Only with sufficient light will the column be more beautiful, otherwise it will easily grow too long and become loose and ugly. In addition, insufficient light can easily cause disease and rot.

3. Temperature

The temperature requirements for its maintenance are not very strict, as long as it can be maintained between 5 degrees and 30 degrees. Therefore, it should be moved indoors in time during the low temperature in winter and kept warm and temperature controlled. In the hot summer, place it in a well-ventilated place and avoid a stuffy environment.

4. Soil

It is a plant that is relatively resistant to barrenness. It can be cared for with sandy loam or general nutrient soil. Just make sure it is not too sticky and is loose and easy to drain. Otherwise, once water accumulates, it will cause various diseases and may even cause death.
