Before garlic bolts, you can apply high-nitrogen compound fertilizer, or 70% urea combined with 30% potassium sulfate as topdressing, or you can use decomposed organic fertilizer for watering to promote the enlargement of garlic.

Common diseases and pests of garlic include ground maggots, leaf miners, rust and leaf blight. In daily management, we should pay attention to observation.
