Cultivation methods and precautions of Deutzia sutchuenensis

Cultivation methods and precautions of Deutzia sutchuenensis

Deutzia odorata is a deciduous shrub that mostly grows in valleys, forest edges, and rock crevices. It has strong adaptability, so it is relatively easy to maintain and is relatively easy to grow.

How to cultivate Deutzia sutchuenensis

1. Lighting

The requirement of Deutzia dactylifera for light is not high and it has strong adaptability. It can be grown even if the light is not very good. However, the light is strong in summer, so the plant needs to be properly shaded.

2. Temperature

During the maintenance period, it is best to provide it with a growth temperature of 20-25℃. The plant has a very strong cold resistance. The winter temperature must not be lower than -25℃, and it can safely survive the winter in the north.

3. Watering

When watering Deutzia odorata, you should adhere to the principle of "water thoroughly when the soil is dry". Water it thoroughly each time, and do not allow water to accumulate in the pot soil. Also, keep the environment well ventilated.

4. Fertilization

If you want Deutzia dactylifera to grow more vigorously and bloom more, you need to maintain sufficient fertilizer and water during the growth period. Generally, you should use general growth fertilizer once a week. After the flower buds grow, you should switch to high-phosphorus and potassium fertilizer.

5. Soil

For breeding of Desmodium, you need to choose loose, breathable and fertile soil. You can also prepare it yourself with peat soil: perlite, garden soil, leaf mold, garden soil, etc.

Precautions for Deutzia maintenance

The growth rate of Deutzia serrata is relatively fast. Generally, it needs to be pruned after the leaves fall in winter or before sprouting in early spring to cut off the dead branches, diseased branches, overgrown branches, and overly dense branches. This is more conducive to the growth of the plant.
