What is the method of growing Bermuda grass?

1. Temperature

Bermuda grass has poor cold resistance, so during maintenance, you must pay attention to temperature control in winter. When the temperature is five or six degrees, it will suffer severe frost damage, and it will freeze to death directly below zero degrees. Therefore, even in the colder winter, the temperature should be controlled at around ten degrees, otherwise it will affect the growth.

2. Lighting

Sufficient sunlight must be provided during the growth period. Only when its lighting conditions are met can it bloom bright flowers. Normally, it should be placed in an environment with full sunlight throughout the day, with at least six to eight hours of sunlight a day. However, in the strong sunlight in summer, shade measures should still be taken to avoid sunburn.

3. Fertilization

Before planting in pots, you should add base fertilizer to the soil to supplement nutrients, and you should also apply fertilizer later, especially during the flowering period. A thin layer of compound fertilizer or manure water should be applied once every ten days or so, because flowering consumes a lot of nutrients, so avoid nutrient deficiency that affects flowering.

4. Watering

During the maintenance period, water should be added frequently and the soil should not be left in a dry state. Water should be applied when it is half dry and half wet. When the temperature is high in summer, in addition to watering, you should also spray water frequently to lower the temperature and increase the humidity.
