Cultivation methods and precautions of small lilies

The lily of the valley is relatively easy to grow. It is a plant that can bloom all year round. Although the plant does not look particularly tall, the flowers will bloom beautifully if it is well maintained.

How to grow small lilies

1. Temperature

When growing lilies, the temperature should be controlled at 15-22 degrees Celsius. Avoid high temperatures in summer and use cooling measures. The temperature in winter should not be lower than 10 degrees Celsius to avoid frost damage.

2. Lighting

The growth of lilies requires sufficient light conditions, 8 hours of light per day during the growth period. In summer, avoid direct sunlight and place it in a shaded and ventilated location. In winter, place it in a well-lit location indoors.

3. Moisture

When growing lilies, you need to water them once every two days. Do not water them too much to avoid water accumulation that may cause root rot. In summer, you need to water them every day because the temperature is high and water evaporates quickly. In winter, reduce the amount of watering and only water them once every 5-7 days.

Precautions for caring for small lilies

When caring for the lily of the valley, pay attention to branches that grow too fast. In order to ensure the beauty of the plant, pruning is necessary, and dead branches, rotten leaves, overgrown branches and leaves, and diseased branches and leaves should be cut off in time. In addition, during the growth period of the lily of the valley, bacterial wilt and powdery mildew will occur. At this time, diluted antibiotics should be used to spray it to make it grow better.
