A higher temperature is required during the growing period, the minimum temperature should not be lower than 18℃, and 25-35℃ is most suitable. Most can tolerate temperatures as low as 6-10℃ in dry dormancy, while heat-loving species cannot tolerate temperatures lower than 12-18℃. 4. Ventilation The quality of ventilation conditions directly determines the health of succulents. If the ventilation of the maintenance environment is poor, then in addition to being very prone to leaf waterlogging and root rot and black rot during the acclimatization period and normal maintenance, succulents are also particularly susceptible to sooty mold disease when the temperature is high in summer. Moisture The principle of replenishing water for succulents is: water when the soil is dry, don’t water when it is not dry, and water thoroughly when it is completely dry. Generally, water the plants in the evening or at night to prevent water evaporation in a high temperature environment. When watering, water the plants from the roots, not the leaves. 6. Nutrients Succulents do not require too much nutrients, and maintaining a normal frequency of soil changes can basically ensure the nutritional supply of succulents.
