Mango seeds need to be germinated before planting. The method is to soak them in warm water. First, soak the peeled seeds in clean water for 3 to 4 days to allow the seeds to absorb enough water and germinate in the water. During the soaking period of mango seeds, the water quality must be kept clean and the water needs to be changed once a day.

Mango seedling planting

The first step is to use a relatively tall flowerpot for growing mangoes. The soil can be prepared by mixing leaf mold, perlite and vermiculite. A layer of medical stone can be spread on the surface of the potting soil. It is usually spread after the seeds are planted to avoid scratching the mango seeds.

The second step is to spray the soil surface with water before planting, then dig a hole of suitable size. In addition, the part with sprouts should face upwards. When the seeds are buried in the soil, the part of the seeds with sprouts should be exposed outside the soil.

Step 3: After planting the mango seeds, water them thoroughly, then move the pot to an indirect sunny place, keep it ventilated and the soil moist, spray water every 1-2 days, and after about 4 days, the mango buds will begin to grow.
