1. Temperature

2. Soil

Japanese umbrella is suitable for growing in loose, fertile soil with strong drainage ability. Garden soil, leaf mold and sandy soil can be mixed evenly in a ratio of 4:4:2 to be used as the culture soil for Japanese umbrella.

3. Watering

The umbrella plant likes moist soil. When the soil is dry, it should be watered in time. In summer, it needs to be watered 1-2 times a day. In winter, the number of watering should be appropriately reduced.

4. Fertilization

During the growth period of Japanese umbrella plant, fertilizer should be applied every 30 days. Nitrogen fertilizer or decomposed organic fertilizer can be used. Note that fertilization should be stopped before the flowers bloom.

When caring for the Japanese umbrella plant, you should pay attention to pruning. During the vigorous growth period of the Japanese umbrella plant, the branches need to be pruned in time.
