Cultivation methods and precautions of chrysanthemum

Cultivation methods and precautions of chrysanthemum

The thousand-petaled chrysanthemum is relatively easy to grow. It is a plant of the Asteraceae family, similar to the wild chrysanthemums on the roadside. It has strong vitality, and as long as it is well maintained, it can bloom thousands of flowers, which is very beautiful.

How to grow chrysanthemum

1. Soil

When growing Thousands of Blooms, if it is grown in a pot, because it blooms in large quantities and the root system at the bottom will be relatively developed, the pot must be large enough so that there is enough space for it to grow. There are no special requirements for the soil of Thousands of Blooms, and the nutrient soil of general flowers and plants can make it grow vigorously.

2. Lighting

When growing chrysanthemums, sufficient light is needed. Chrysanthemums are a sun-loving plant. Only by maintaining good light exposure can the chrysanthemums grow vigorously. Chrysanthemums cannot be exposed to the sun in summer. In high temperature conditions, they need to be moved to a semi-shaded environment to avoid sunburn.

3. Watering

Chrysanthemum is relatively water-loving. You can water it more often and create a moist growing environment for it, but do not let water accumulate in the soil of the chrysanthemum, otherwise the roots of the chrysanthemum will rot.

Precautions for the maintenance of chrysanthemum

When caring for the chrysanthemum, you should pay attention to proper pruning, and insist on pruning the branches and leaves during the growth period. Remove the remaining flowers after the flowers fade, and remove the dead branches and rotten leaves in time. By pruning it reasonably, you can reduce the consumption of nutrients and help the growth and recovery of the chrysanthemum. In addition, you should also pay attention to maintaining good ventilation to avoid hot and humid air.
