The cultivation methods and precautions of hanging bell

Hanging bell is a relatively easy plant to maintain. Under normal circumstances, as long as the growth temperature is not lower than 10 degrees and not higher than 32 degrees, it can grow and bloom normally. Therefore, during the growth period, we must ensure that there is sufficient water, fertilizer and light.

How to cultivate golden bell

1. Repotting

Generally speaking, the hanging bells we buy will come with a simple pot. This kind of pot dries out very quickly and is easily not watered thoroughly after watering. It is best to replace it with a pot with better air permeability and drainage. During the repotting process, remove some of the original soil around the roots and fill it in the new pot.

2. Pruning

The hanging bell must be pruned properly during the cultivation process. If it is a relatively small seedling , you can first leave two to four leaves on the branch and remove the top. This will allow it to grow more side branches until the plant grows lush and leafy.

3. Fertilizer

Fertilizer is essential for growing fuchsia. You can choose fertilizer with high nitrogen content and other elements. If you want it to bloom more, you need to use fertilizer with high phosphorus content and other elements. The frequency of fertilization is two to three times a month.

4. Watering

When growing the hanging bell, you must ensure proper watering, because it likes moist soil. Generally, when the soil in the pot is dry by one or two centimeters, you should water it thoroughly.

Precautions for maintenance of golden bell

1. Lighting

The hanging bell is a flowering plant that always likes sunlight. Remember not to put it in a weak light environment, and make sure it has enough light in spring, autumn and winter, so that it can ensure continuous flowering.

2. Shade

The hanging bell is a plant that needs proper shade. Generally, when the temperature is above 30 degrees Celsius in summer, some shade preparations should be made for it to ensure that there are no problems with the plant.
