20-20-20 water-soluble fertilizer formula calculation (macro-element water-soluble fertilizer formula table)

20-20-20 water-soluble fertilizer formula

First of all, we need to prepare the raw materials for preparing macro-element water-soluble fertilizers such as urea, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, potassium nitrate, monoammonium phosphate, diammonium phosphate, potassium sulfate, potassium carbonate, etc.

Among them, urea must be selected with low biuret content. If the biuret content is not marked on the package, or the biuret content should not exceed 1%, because the water-soluble fertilizer is directly flushed into the soil and contacts the root system, too high biuret content can easily burn the roots.

The formula of 20-20-20 water-soluble fertilizer is 2.25 catties of urea + 3.25 catties of monoammonium phosphate + 4.35 catties of potassium nitrate. Mix them according to the proportion.

Types of water-soluble fertilizers and implementation standards of water-soluble fertilizers

Currently, large-element water-soluble fertilizers mainly include large-element, medium-element type and large-element, trace-element type. Among them, medium-element such as calcium and magnesium can be selected as chelated calcium and magnesium, and the ratio should be 1%-5%.

Trace elements generally include iron, zinc, boron, copper, manganese and molybdenum. There are compound trace element foliar fertilizers on the market. The proportion of this added should be 0.2-3%. Trace elements should not be too much, as they can easily cause poisoning.

How to prepare water-soluble fertilizers in other proportions

First, how to prepare a balanced water-soluble fertilizer with a content of 21-21-21.

8 catties of urea + 8 catties of potassium dihydrogen phosphate + 3 catties of potassium nitrate, mix them in proportion and you can use them. It is best to apply them as soon as possible after preparation, otherwise it will easily absorb moisture and form lumps. Since potassium nitrate is absorbed and effective quickly, it is not recommended for plants with strong growth and small fruit bearing.

Second, another balanced water-soluble fertilizer with a ratio of 21-21-21.

4.35 catties of urea + 3.9 catties of potassium dihydrogen phosphate + 1.3 catties of potassium sulfate. Mix them in proportion and they can be used. The effect of potassium sulfate is generally slower than that of potassium nitrate. Apply according to the growth of the plants. It is recommended to use this formula if the growth is strong but not vigorous.

National Standard for Biuret Content in Urea

Third, how to prepare a balanced water-soluble fertilizer with a content of 19-19-19.

3.35 catties urea + 3.1 catties monoammonium phosphate + 3.65 catties potassium sulfate, mix them according to the proportion.

The above proportions are only for the personal use of the plantation managers, because although the fertilizers prepared by the manufacturers have the same content, some fertilizer enhancers will be added to the fertilizers to ensure the effect and durability in storage and transportation or to increase the selling point.
