1. How to raise

1. Soil: The planting soil can be a slightly acidic soil mixed with 8 parts of leaf mold and 2 parts of river sand, or 7 parts of leaf mold, 2 parts of perlite and 1 part of river sand, or you can use special orchid mud for planting.

2. Light: Orchids prefer a semi-shaded growing environment. In daily care, do not place the orchid in a place with strong light, try to place it in a place where it can receive scattered light. When the sunlight is strong, more than 50% of the light needs to be blocked.

3. Water: It likes moisture and needs to keep the soil in the pot moist, but it cannot be watered too frequently, otherwise it will cause water accumulation in the pot and root rot at the roots of the plant. The principle of watering is "water when the soil is dry and water thoroughly when watering."

4. Temperature: Orchids prefer coolness and are afraid of high temperatures and severe cold. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that its growth temperature is within the range of 10-25 degrees. It needs to be moved indoors in winter. The indoor temperature should be between 0-10 degrees, and the plant can survive the winter smoothly.

5. Fertilization: Orchids have a low demand for fertilizer, so just choose a thin fertilizer. It is best to use special fertilizer for orchids, and avoid organic fertilizer to avoid fertilizer damage.

6. Pruning: Orchids need to be pruned frequently. Prune off some dead branches and leaves, as well as branches and leaves that are damaged by pests and diseases. This can not only make room for new branches to grow, but also prevent other healthy branches and leaves from being infected by pests and diseases.
