What kind of water is best for watering Jade Plants?

“Acidic water quality”

In order to keep the soil acidic, it is taboo to use alkaline water for irrigation.

For example, the water quality in the north is alkaline, so it needs to be treated before watering. For example, it can be left to stand for 48 hours before use, or a few drops of white vinegar can be added at intervals to acidify the water quality.

For example, the water quality in the south is acidic, and under normal circumstances it can be used directly without affecting the acidic factors that damage the soil.

Rainwater and snow water in nature are high-quality acid water, but this kind of acid water is not available every day.

Following my previous method, I would put an empty tank on the roof every time it rained, and it would be filled with rainwater every time, which I could use to water some of my favorite flowers and plants, such as jade plants, orchids, etc.

"Fat Water"

Jade plant is native to South Africa, where the soil is very fertile. In addition, the leaves and branches grow quickly, so it is necessary to ensure that the soil is fully nutritious. If you simply use acidic water to maintain the plant, the plant will soon grow poorly, and its resistance to damage will decrease, making it prone to disease.

According to my maintenance method, I use some fertilizer water to irrigate the plants in spring and autumn every year. After mixing it with clean water, I do it once every 20 days. Of course, I also need to add some phosphorus fertilizer so that the plants can grow and bloom comprehensively.

“Proper watering”

Using "acid water" and "fertilizer water" to water the Jade Plant can promote its growth, but improper watering will harm the plant's life. For example, if you water too much, the root tissue will rot.

For example, watering at low temperatures in winter will freeze the roots of the plant. In order to make the Jade Plant grow better, the following points need to be done.

First, you have to wait until the soil is dry before watering; for example, insert a bamboo stick, and when the soil is dry for more than three centimeters, you can water it.

Second, in winter, you need to wait until the temperature rises before watering to avoid "ice water" freezing the root tissue.
