How to water the Master after potting (Does the Master need to be watered thoroughly for the first time after potting)

How long should I water the newly bought Master after potting it?

The Master is a thin-leaf variety, and its leaves will easily wilt if it lacks water for a long time, especially those purchased online. In order to facilitate transportation, they are usually removed from the soil and have their roots aired before shipment, and they are already dehydrated during the freight process.

So after receiving it, you only need to simply trim the roots and soak it in a solution of carbendazim for about 20 minutes to sterilize and disinfect the wound. After the moisture on the wound is air-dried, you can use moist soil to pot it.

After potting, water the plant with a small amount of rooting water and place it in a diffused light environment to acclimate. The entire acclimatization period generally does not exceed two weeks. During this period, you can water it again when the soil in the pot is basically dry. The slightly moist state of the soil in the pot is beneficial to reduce leaf consumption and induce the growth of new roots.

About two weeks after being potted, the leaves of the plant stopped drooping and wilting, and slowly recovered to the shape of blooming petals, proving that it had successfully adapted to the pot.

After that, you can place it in a sunny and well-ventilated environment for maintenance. Flower lovers who have the conditions can also grow it outdoors, which will make it easier to grow.

Daily maintenance tips for mages

The Master Plant is easy to grow branches and also easy to branch, which makes it a very suitable variety for growing old trees. Generally, the crown can form a bouquet shape in 2-3 years, and it is more ornamental!

Daily care is relatively rough, avoid large amounts of fertilizer and water, maintain sufficient light, and water again when the soil in the pot is basically dry.

During the vigorous growth period in spring and autumn, you can use some diluted water-soluble fertilizer or directly sprinkle a small amount of slow-release fertilizer granules to promote growth.

During the summer dormancy period, pay attention to providing appropriate shading and promptly clean up the dead leaves accumulated on the outside. Keeping it in a cool and ventilated environment will help it to survive the summer smoothly.

In winter, you can stop applying fertilizer and control watering to keep the soil in the pot dry. This will keep the plant in a warm environment, which will help it survive the winter smoothly.

In addition, pay attention to the prevention and control of scale insects when the seasons change, and repot once every 1-2 years in spring or autumn.
