The correct way to water flowers with beer is suitable for what flowers and plants

If you have beer or expired beer at home, do not throw it away. You can use it to grow flowers, wipe leaves, etc. It can make the plants grow green and lush, and the effect is better than fertilizing!

The correct way to water flowers with beer

1. Watering

When watering flowers with a beer bottle, the beer needs to be diluted. Pouring it directly on the flowers can easily cause root burn. It is recommended to dilute it with water at a ratio of 1:50 and then water the flowers to better promote flower growth.

2. Spraying

In addition to watering, spraying water is a more commonly used method. Mix beer and water in a ratio of 1:10 and spray it on the surface of the leaves to accelerate the leaves' absorption of nutrients and water.

3. Wipe

Dip the leaves on a clean rag and wipe them dry so that the leaves can directly absorb the sugar and other nutrients in the beer, making the leaves more lush and shiny.

What flowers are suitable for watering with beer

1. Pothos

If the green radish often turns yellow and lacks nutrition, you can wipe it with beer. The leaves will become shiny, especially the back of the leaves, which can also absorb nutrients from the beer.

Scrub with clean water. It is best to dilute it 10 times with clean water. Dilute it forty to fifty times for root watering. If there is residual beer liquid at the bottom of the beer bottle at home, you can add some water, shake it well and water the flowers!

2. White Anthurium

White palm is a smooth-sailing plant and likes a humid air environment, but it is not tolerant to fertilizer. If a little fertilizer is applied, the new leaves will turn black. This is fertilizer damage, so it would be better to use "organic fertilizer" such as beer, and the method is the same.

After diluting it with water 10 to 20 times, use a wet rag to wipe the leaves. Remember to scrub with water, do not wipe directly, otherwise it will easily leave black spots.

3. Yushu

The leaves of the jade plant are thick, glossy green and of good texture, but they are often grayish, making them look dirty and tasteless. If you spray water on them, they are not moisture-resistant and will not do well.

Use beer to wipe the leaves. The jade plant leaves are very small, and it is troublesome to wipe them one by one. It is better to dilute it with 20 times water, put it in a spray bottle and spray the leaves. After a few days, the leaves will become bright.

Regarding the frequency, it depends on the individual. It doesn’t matter if you are diligent or lazy. The jade tree leaves can be sprayed or scrubbed after accumulating dust.

4. Peperomia

The evergreen also has thick leaves. Like the jade plant, it is a "thick-skinned" plant. Its leaves are often leggy and dull in color. At this time, scrub them with beer, wiping both sides. After fertilization, the leaves will become very shiny, and this shine can last at least a week!

5. Gardenia

Gardenia is the plant that loves beer the most among all plants. Its leaves often turn yellow. If there is no problem with watering and lighting, it may be due to lack of fertilizer. During the growing season, you can regularly rub the leaves with beer, which is equivalent to supplementing foliar nitrogen fertilizer.

In addition, you can also use beer to water gardenias, but it needs to be diluted about 50 times before watering. The concentration of beer should not be too high, otherwise there will be fertilizer damage. The frequency is only once a month.

6. Fortune Tree

It is really difficult to grow a money tree. Its leaves easily accumulate dust and are always waxy yellow. Summer is its growing season. Don’t just throw the money tree in a corner and leave it alone. Move it out, clean the dust, wipe the leaves, dilute beer 10 to 20 times, wet a clean rag and wipe it on both sides to make it look "fortunate".
