How to plant peony seedlings

Sow the germinated seeds into the soil, cover with 3-4cm of soil, compact the soil gently, and water thoroughly. During the winter, remember to cover the soil with leaves or animal feces, or you can choose to cover it with mulch to keep it warm. In the spring of the second year, you can see the peony seedlings sprouting.

Points to note when planting peony seedlings

Peony seeds are not tolerant to moisture. If they are kept in a damp state for a long time, they will rot and mold. Therefore, you don’t need to water them frequently. When you see that the soil is almost dry, you can water them properly. Generally, peony seeds will germinate about 40 days after sowing. When the seedlings grow, you should expose them to the sun in time.
