Mulberry bonsai maintenance methods Potted mulberry planting technology and management

Fruit mulberry potted plants are best planted in winter and early spring. When planting, you should select high-quality seedlings without diseases and insect pests. First, prepare potting soil with loose texture and strong air permeability. Add base fertilizer to the potting soil, mix it evenly, and then put the fruit mulberry seedlings in. Cover the soil and lift it lightly to allow the roots to stretch. Then gently pat the soil on top with your hands to compact it, and water it to keep it moist.

Maintenance method of fruit mulberry potted bonsai

1. Temperature

Fruit mulberry potted plants are suitable for growing in a higher temperature environment, specifically between 25-30 degrees. If the temperature is lower than 12 degrees or higher than 40 degrees, the growth of fruit mulberry will be hindered and poor growth will occur.

2. Lighting

Fruit mulberry potted plants are relatively shade-tolerant, but they cannot be placed in a dark place for a long time. Generally speaking, a location with sufficient diffuse light is most suitable for the growth of fruit mulberry. If the light is strong, try to provide shade.

3. Watering

Fruit mulberry potted plants are relatively drought-resistant, but not very water-resistant. Therefore, you should pay attention to controlling the amount of watering. Plants with larger volumes require relatively more water. Generally, they should be watered once every 3-4 days.

Things to note when planting bonsai

It is necessary to keep the soil moist. When the soil is dry, water it in time. When it rains or there is too much water, pay attention to drainage to prevent root rot and the death of the fruit mulberry bonsai.
