The rapid rooting method of cuttings of seven-leaf lotus The rooting method of cuttings cultivation

Seven-leaf lily grows in the forest and can also climb on other trees. It can be grown by leaf cuttings or cuttings. Leaf cuttings and cuttings are also carried out in spring and autumn. Cut strong branches 8 to 10 cm, remove the lower leaves, and plant the cuttings in the soil with strong air permeability. Keep warm and moisturize. It will take 4 to 6 weeks to take root at 25 degrees.

1. Cutting time

Seven-leaf lily can be propagated by cuttings. The temperature suitable for its rooting is around 20-25 degrees, so the time for cuttings can be chosen in spring or autumn. The temperature in these two time periods is more suitable, and the growth germination of seven-leaf lily is also very strong, so it is easy to survive after cuttings.

2. Cut the cuttings

Choose a well-growing, disease-free seven-leaf lily, cut the top branches from the plant, keep the branches at about 8-10 cm in length, and require the branches to have more than 3 leaf nodes, which is more conducive to germination and rooting. Process the cut cuttings, remove the leaves at the bottom of the branches, and place them aside to dry the incision.

3. Prepare the sand bed

After the cuttings of Seven-Leaf Aquilegia are processed, you can prepare the sand bed for cuttings. The sand bed can be mixed with river sand or perlite, and it is required to maintain good air permeability and drainage. The sand bed should be disinfected and sterilized in advance to reduce the occurrence of diseases.

4. Take cuttings

Insert the cut cuttings into the sand bed, be careful not to insert too deep, slightly compact the surrounding soil, control the ambient temperature at around 25 degrees, spray water in time, maintain good humidity, then the seven-leaf vine will take root after 4-6 weeks.
