How to deal with the lucky charm after it blooms? How to prune it after the flowering period

Treatment after flowering of Lucky Flower

1. Prune the remaining flowers: The lucky charm plant will not bloom again after blooming, so you should cut off its remaining flowers and yellow leaves to help it save more nutrients and promote the growth of new buds.

2. Separate new shoots: After the flowers of the lucky charm plant wither, many new shoots will grow from the root system. At this time, you need to remove it from the pot, cut off the new shoots at the roots, apply carbendazim solution to its wounds, and replant it in the soil.

How to grow the lucky charm

The flowering period of the lucky plant is from summer to winter, generally between June and October, and its flowering period lasts up to 5 months. If properly maintained, it can bloom all year round.

1. Suitable temperature

The lucky charm plant likes to grow in a warm environment. Its growth temperature is best controlled at around 20℃, which is most conducive to its flowering. If the temperature is higher than 35℃, it will be sunburned, and when the temperature is lower than 15℃, it is easy to suffer frost damage.

2. Suitable lighting

The lucky plant likes to grow in a semi-shaded environment. It is not resistant to strong light. It can be placed in a place with scattered light. It is best to have more than 4 hours of light a day. If there is insufficient light, its flowers cannot form.
