Grape planting methods and time The best time to transplant

Suitable time for planting grapes

The suitable time to plant grapes is around early to mid-March. When the temperature returns to normal, you can dig shallow holes according to the appropriate row spacing, place the grape seedlings vertically into the holes, and ensure that the roots are fully extended and evenly distributed, so that the grapes can grow healthily.

Grape planting methods and key points

1. Fertilization

After planting the grapes, you can start applying top dressing about 15 days later. When the grape seedlings grow 7-8 leaves, apply top dressing again. Nitrogen fertilizer should be used as the main fertilizer in the early stage.

It can promote the rapid formation of grapes, but the concentration of fertilizer should not be too high, otherwise it will damage the root system. Watering is required in time after fertilization. According to the growth of grapes, you can start using appropriate amounts of potassium fertilizer and phosphorus fertilizer.

2. Watering and pest control

After planting the grape seedlings, keep the soil moist. During the growing season, you can water it in small amounts. In the early stages of planting, you need to prevent pests and diseases such as beetles, green stink bugs and black pox. In the middle and late stages, you need to prevent the occurrence of downy mildew.

Key points for daily management of grapes

After planting the grapes, you must first prepare the land, then apply enough water and fertilizer, and then build a trellis for the grape seedlings in time. At the same time, you also need to spray a new lipid film to enhance the fertilizer effect and make the grapes germinate better.
