1. Planting soil

When planting bamboo, it is also important to choose good soil. Generally speaking, you can choose to plant it in loose and breathable sandy loam, but you must not choose soil that is too sticky, too dry and not breathable. In order to ensure good nutrition for bamboo, you can apply enough base fertilizer, or you can choose organic fertilizer, and at the same time, deep plowing to keep the soil loose.

2. Choose bamboo whip

Generally, bamboo is planted using bamboo rhizomes. Usually you can choose bamboo rhizomes that are one to two years old, have no insect pests and have full bamboo buds. Some shriveled bamboo rhizomes are difficult to survive.

3. Planting

Plant the selected bamboo shoots into the soil. The planting depth is generally about 20-25 cm. It does not need to be planted too deep, but the specific depth depends on the soil. After planting the bamboo shoots, give them enough water.

4. Post-planting management

After planting the bamboo, water it in time to keep the soil well moist. Only with sufficient water can the bamboo grow better and faster.

After planting bamboo, you need to pay attention to the prevention and control of diseases and pests, especially bamboo aphids. Once discovered, you need to spray pesticides in time, otherwise it will affect the normal growth of bamboo, and in severe cases it will cause the bamboo to wither.
