Lantern fruit planting time and method cultivation and management technology

Lantern fruit planting time

There are generally two time periods for planting lantern fruit, one is around mid-April in spring, and the other is between late June and early July. If planted in these two time periods, the survival rate of lantern fruit will be relatively high.

When sowing, the temperature should be stabilized at around 30 degrees. After the lantern fruit seeds germinate, the temperature can be controlled at around 20 degrees.

Lantern fruit planting methods and key points

1. Greenhouse seedling cultivation

During the seedling cultivation process of lantern fruit, most of the seedlings are planted in greenhouses, and before seedling cultivation, suitable seedbeds and nutrient soil must be prepared.

2. Sowing

Before planting lantern fruit, it is generally done in sunny weather, and the lantern fruit seeds are evenly sown on the seedbed, then covered with soil and watered. Be sure to water thoroughly, and finally cover the surface of the seedbed with a layer of plastic film to keep warm and moist.

Things to note when planting lantern fruit

During the planting process of lantern fruit, the demand for light is relatively large, so it is necessary to ensure that the lantern fruit has sufficient light time during planting. When the lantern fruit germinates, the temperature needs to be kept at around 30 degrees as much as possible. When watering, you must also pay attention to controlling the amount of water. Excessive watering will reduce the quality of the fruit.
