Is it better to grow hyacinth in water or soil?

Hyacinths can be grown in soil or hydroponically. Both methods have their own advantages and disadvantages. Soil-grown hyacinths grow very strong and sturdy, and are not prone to root rot, but they can easily dirty the surrounding area. Hydroponics hyacinths are very convenient to maintain on a daily basis, and you only need to change the water in time. They are more beautiful, but there is a greater possibility of root rot.

Method of hydroponic hyacinth

Processing bulbs : Before planting hydroponic hyacinths, the bulbs must be processed first. First, peel off the old outer skin, then soak them in a diluted disinfectant solution for about 15-20 minutes, take them out, and let them dry naturally.

Changing water: The best thing to use for hydroponic hyacinths is a professional hyacinth hydroponic bottle. The mouth of the bottle should be able to support the bulb, and the amount of water should just cover the roots of the bulb. You don’t need to change the water too frequently. Just observe the water level drop and replenish it in time.
