Cylinder bean planting time

Cylinder beans can be planted in spring, summer and autumn every year. For spring planting of cylinder beans, you can choose to raise seedlings and cultivate them in February and March every year. For summer planting of cylinder beans, you can choose to plant them between May and June every year. For autumn planting, you can choose to plant them in August and September every year.

How to plant beans

1. Choose the soil

When planting beans, you need to choose loose, fertile land with convenient drainage and irrigation. Before planting, you need to prepare the land, deep plow the soil, remove weeds and debris around the soil, and apply an appropriate amount of base fertilizer to the soil to improve soil fertility. Ridge making must also be completed before planting.

2. Planting

When planting beans, you need to choose a suitable variety, sow three or four seeds in each pit with a plant spacing of 30 to 32 cm, and cover with a 3 cm thin layer of soil after planting. Water appropriately to ensure that the soil is slightly moist.

3. Field management

After planting the cylinder beans, thinning and supplementing are required according to its growth conditions. 2 to 3 healthy seedlings are retained in each hole. For places where seedlings are missing, seedlings can be transplanted and supplemented in time. At the same time, weeds need to be removed to ensure the healthy growth of the cylinder beans.

Precautions for planting peas

During the growth period of the cylinder bean, it is necessary to water it frequently. After the cylinder bean grows to a certain length, a frame must be built for it so that the vines of the cylinder bean can grow along the frame. In the early stages of the growth of the cylinder bean, the young and weak buds must be removed in time to promote the growth of flower buds.
